Kellie Wallerstein Obituary

Kellie Margaret Wallerstein, 53, Devoted Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, and Friend. With deepest sorrow, we announce the unexpected passing of Kellie Margaret Wallerstein on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. She was the beloved wife of Jason R. King for 30 cherished years. Kellie brightened the world with her gentle spirit, radiant smile, and boundless compassion for others.

Born on March 4, 1971, in Columbus, Ohio, Kellie was the daughter of Sheila Garten and Larry H. Wallerstein. She grew up alongside her sisters Amy and Laura Wallerstein and brother Robert Wallerstein, where she discovered her lifelong passions for music, creative arts, biking, and nature. After graduating from The University of Akron, Kellie began a life of service as a Program Developer, Theater Production Designer, Volunteer, and Co-Founder/Leader of Girl Scout Troop 90075.

However, Kellie's most important role was as a loving wife and mother. She married her soulmate Jason R. King, and together they created a beautiful family with their children, grandchildren, godchildren, and friends. Her life revolved around her family, and she cherished every moment spent surrounded by those she held most dear. She was at home in her garden and sharing traditions surrounded by her family on holidays.

With an unwavering nurturing spirit, Kellie made her home a sanctuary of warmth, laughter, and unconditional love. Her generous heart and empathy were unparalleled. She had a special way of making others feel valued and cared for deeply. Kellie's life was a testament to selflessness, integrity, and devotion.

Left to cherish Kellie's incredible legacy are her husband, Jason; their children, Christina Elizabeth, Colleen Jean, Gabriel Leon, and Isabella Grace; grandchildren, Jaxxyn Leon and Lenoxx Wren; parents, Sheila and Larry; sisters, Amy and Laura and brother, Robert; nieces, Autumn and Ana, nephew, Mark Rowan; godchildren, Mia, Nathan, and Joshua; as well as countless cousins, aunts/uncles, and dear friends whose lives she touched.

The family would like to thank the nurses, doctors, and staff at the Cleveland Clinic Neuro and Cardiac Intensive Care Units.

Kellie will be forever remembered as the most loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. Her beautiful spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
