Carole J. Satterfield

Born in Akron December 4, 1938 to Edmond and Beatrice Roberts, Carole was a lifelong resident, attending St. Vincent/St. Mary's High School and the University of Akron, and was an active member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church.

While at the University of Akron, she met her husband of 49 years and joined Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority where she became a life member. She loved being a real estate agent for 40 years and volunteered with several organizations including Akron Children's Hospital, Bath Township Board of Zoning Appeals, Bath Volunteers for Service and St Paul's Episcopal Church Finance Committee. A long time member at Portage Country Club, she loved to play tennis and duplicate bridge.

Preceded in death by her husband, John Lee Satterfield III; she is survived by her sons, John Lee, IV (Melissa) and Jefferson E. (Brenda); daughter, Bowanne (Bradley) Hansen; grandchildren, Gwendolyn, Lauren, Adam, Griffen and Allisen.

Services to be held MONDAY 11 a.m. June 27th in the Chapel of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Friends may call Sunday 3 to 5 p.m. June 26th at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Akron. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rector's Discretionary Fund at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1361 W. Market St., Akron, Ohio 44313. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
