Cathryn Siddall Obituary
Cathryn "Kitty" (Ervin) Siddall , age 95, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2014 at home with her family by her side.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donn, her sister Dorothy Bright and by her father and mother, Leslie and Hazel Ervin.
She is survived by son Scott, daughter-in-law Kathleen, and grandchildren Meghan and Sean.
Cathryn was a resident of Bath for nearly 60 years and a member of the Bath Church. She graduated from Kent State University and taught in both the Coventry and Revere school systems. Cathryn volunteered at Stan Hywet Hall, the Summit County Historical Society, and the Bath Volunteers for Service. She was a member of Ellsworth chapter #247 (Richfield) of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a wonderful and caring mother and grandmother, a great listener and confidant, and always had a bright perceptive. Her cheer, generosity and intelligence were a delight and an inspiration. Her family meant everything to her. Cathryn will be missed dearly by all those who knew and loved her.
Services will be held at 1:00PM on Friday, July 18, 2014 at the Bath Church, UCC, Historic Chapel, 3980 W. Bath Rd., Akron, Ohio 44333; friends will be received at the church from 11AM until the time of service. Burial will take place at Rose Hill Burial Park.
