Charles Robert Kalos "Charlie's Ribs"
Charles Robert Kalos, 49, passed away February 8, 2016, at his home surrounded by his family.
Born in Akron November 10, 1966 to Robert G. and Delores (Galat) Kalos, he was a 1985 graduate of Firestone High School. He was the owner/operator of Charlie's Ribs on Copley Road, formerly Bunny Drive-In, founded by his father, Bob Kalos.
Preceded in death by his parents; he is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Jeannine; sister, Jeanne (Jan) Bister; aunt, Genevieve (Duane) Bricker; faithful four-legged kids, Cody and Sadie; mother-in-law, Judy Lonis; father-in-law, Gordon (Micheline) Lonis; brothers-in-law, Jeff and Steve (Jodi) Lonis; niece, Emily and numerous cousins.
Remembering special friends, Connie Baker, Jim Brooks, Jimmy Underwood, Jackie "Brown Sugar", Prince Marco Podis and Mickey Parasson.
Services will be held 11 a.m. FRIDAY at Lakeside Christian Church, 3535 Knollwood Lane, Akron 44333 with Pastor Petar Nenadov officiating. Friends may call at BILLOW FAIRLAWN CHAPEL 85 N. Miller Rd. Akron, Ohio 44333 THURSDAY from 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Angels for Animals Shelter (www.angelsforanimals.org). (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
