Dorothea C. Flick

Dorothea C. Flick passed away on May 12, 2016. She was 90 years old.

Dorothea was born in Canoe Twp., Pennsylvania. She lived most of her life in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life Robert L. Flick who was her husband of 69 years. She was also preceded in death by parents, John Carl White and Helen (White) White; brothers, Ronald Arthur White and John (Jack) Carl White Jr.; and granddaughter, Aimee Graves. She is survived by her daughter, Colleen Carolyn Schroyer; son, Gregory Lee Flick (Elaine); and daughter, Jody Ann Crow (John); along with 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Dorothea was a Postal Clerk in Akron and retired with 28 years of service. She was an active member of The Chapel in Akron and attended the Inheritors ABF. She enjoyed attending the Summit Lapidary Club with her husband Robert. She was a past Eastern Star member. She will be remembered for being a loving and kind mother and grandmother and for her pot roast.

Services will be held at 9:00 a.m. WEDNESDAY at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd St., with Rev. Isaac Van Epps officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home 4 to 7 p.m. TUESDAY. Interment at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Children's Hospital Medical Center of Akron in her name. (Billow FALLS Chapel)
