Emma Terwilliger Obituary
Emma Mae Terwilliger, age 89, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2014.
Born January 5, 1925 in Friedens, PA., she was the daughter of Morris and Ada (Enos) Hemminger.
Emma graduated from both the University of Akron and Kent State University; she retired from the Norton City School System. She was active at both Concordia Lutheran Church and Fairlawn Lutheran Church where she volunteered in the church's library. She enjoyed reading and playing cards.
Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Earl; son Earl "Terry" (Bonnie) and daughter Julie (Dimitri) Skaftouros; grandchildren Byron, John, Alex, Alaina, Gwen, and Sammy who were the joy of her life, her legacy will live on through them. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
Private services will be held for the family, memorial contributions can be made to a charity of one's choice.
