Florence Garbe Obituary
Florence Mae Garbe, age 89, of Norton passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2014.
Born December 17, 1924, she was the daughter of William and Mary Ann (Helmetz) Caipen.
Florence made her home with her daughter and family and she made it a priority to love and spend time with her family. She retired from Barberton Citizen's Hospital after 27 years of service.
Survivors include her daughter Connie Sue (Robert) Reed and son Michael William (Debbie) Garbe; grandchildren: Ryan, Sara, and Brandon Reed, and Michael Garbe; great grandchildren Skylar Reed and Carter Nelson; brother, William Caipen.
She was preceded in death by a sister Marie Rager and brothers Robert and Ralph Caipen.
Friends will be received at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd, on Monday from 5-7PM where services will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 11:00AM with Reverend Mr. Greg Wunderle officiating. Cremation will follow with inurnment at Greenlawn Memorial Park at a later date. Memorials may be made to Hospice Of Visiting Nurse Service, c/o Akron General Foundation, 400 Wabash Ave., Akron, Ohio 44307-2463.
