Fred Choy Obituary
Fred Kat-Chung Choy passed away on Friday, January 16, 2015.
He is survived by his wife, Christina; son Jeremy; mother, Chiu-Man; brother, Patrick; and sisters, Yuen Chung and Angela.
He was a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Akron, a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and a member of the Akron Chinese Christian Church.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at The Chapel, (Memorial Chapel) 135 Fir Hill, Akron, Ohio 44304 from 2-3PM with the service to begin at 3:00PM. A reception will be held immediately following the services at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Akron Chinese Christian Church, 135 Fir Hill, Akron, Ohio 44304.
