Judy Gail McClelland

Judy Gail McClelland, also known as Gentiva, passed away unexpectedly on May 7th, 2017 at the age of 71.

She was born in Akron, Ohio on May 4th, 1946 to Nina Isabel Blackburn and Harry Louis McClelland. She graduated from Akron Buchtel High School in 1964. She attended The University of Akron before moving to New York City and later to San Francisco. Upon returning to Akron she was employed by the state of Ohio and worked at several positions before moving to Columbus where she was employed as a system analyst and helped to design the Online ODHS system as well as the CSEA system. She was a freelance photographer and was continuing her education at the University of Akron. She also enjoyed traveling, visiting Alaska, Hawaii, England, Scotland, Australia, and Ireland.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and is survived by her sister, Marcia; brother, Daniel; nieces and nephew. She will be remembered as a loyal friend with a beautiful soul, and a loving sister.

A memorial celebration of her life service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 20th 2017 at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd.
