Justin Khamvongsouk

Justin Khamvongsouk, at the age of 18, passed away on July 15, 2016 as a result of a tragic accident.

Born on October 9, 1997 in Akron, Ohio, he attended Coventry local schools where he was a member of the National Honor Society, captain of the varsity soccer team, and graduated amongst the Top 10 of his class. On scholarship, he was enrolled at Kent State University with a Computer Information Systems major. Justin was a beloved son, brother, boyfriend, classmate, and team member. He will never be forgotten.

Justin is survived by his parents, Phouthavong "Thou" and Temta "Temmy" Khamvongsouk, and older brother, Jordan Khamvongsouk. He also leaves his grandparents, Loune and Khamdeng Khamvongsouk and Phouvong and Souvanthong Xaybandith; several aunts, uncles and cousins, and girlfriend, Karli Morisak.

Memorial hours for friends and the community will be Friday, July 22nd from 4-7 p.m. at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Fairlawn, OH 44333. The traditional ceremony will be held on Saturday, July 23rd at 12 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks to consider donations to his beloved Coventry High School Soccer organization, the Summit County Sheriff's Dept., Coventry Firefighters local 2286, or any Summit County emergency service involved with his rescue.
