Karl Reckner Obituary
Karl Lee Reckner, 61, went into his Father's arms April 16, 2015.
He received a Master's Degree from the University of Akron and had further study with Moody Bible Institute. He taught English at Cleveland Central Catholic and the University of Akron. He had a passion for Christ, teaching and his guitar.
He is survived by Becky, who he cherished; beloved son, Cory (Bethany); sister, Vonda (John) Childress; extended family, John (Carrie) Butcher, Erica (Vince) Twitchell; and he was Pappy to Eliana and Kaelynne.
Services will be held 2 p.m. MONDAY at West Hill Baptist Church, 605 Revere Rd., with Pastor Aaron Varner officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the church MONDAY from 12 Noon to 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the West Hill Baptist Church deacon's fund.
