Laurie Muratori Obituary
Laurie A. Muratori, age 52, of Fairlawn passed away Saturday, April 19, 2014.
Born November 17, 1961 in Chattanooga, TN., she was the daughter of Lester and Patricia (Geiger) Smith.
Laurie grew up in Hudson and graduated from Youngstown State University. She was a Chemical Engineer and a Sales Manager at SGL Carbon for nearly 20 years. She married Mario Muratori in 1996. Her greatest accomplishment is her daughter Sophia.
Survivors include daughter: Sophia Muratori, mother: Patricia Smith; sisters: Barbara Smith and Carolyn Smith, and brother, David Smith; as well as additional loved ones Mario Muratori and step-daughters: Sara Jane Muratori and Alitia Muratori; and dear friend Charlie. She was preceded in death by her father.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, April 27, 2014 at 4:00PM at the Fairlawn Lutheran Church, 3415 W. Market St., Fairlawn.
