Marjorie C Palazzo

Marjorie C. Palazzo (nee Starks), 88, passed away peacefully November 22, 2016 at her home in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Born July 18, 1928 in Warren, Ohio to the late Karl and Zelma Starks, she was a graduate of Tallmadge High School and the University of Akron. She went on to work as a lab technician at St. Thomas Hospital until the birth of her first child at which time she became a full time mother. As a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, she embodied all the good in each of those roles. She was the epitome of motherhood: comforting, kind, protecting, advice giving (whether you asked for it or not), and she was a phenomenal cook. Whip smart and often amusingly opinionated she was great company to be around.

Mom loved her sports: Indians, Cavs, (long suffering) Browns, and of course OSU Football. She even had a way of converting those who never watched sports, especially her husband and son-in-law.

Preceded in death by her husband, John Palazzo, daughter, Susan Hoffman, and brother, Robert Starks; she is survived by son, John II; daughters, Christine (Jeffrey) Noyes and Patty Palazzo; grandchildren, Johnny (Christine) Palazzo, Samantha Noyes (Erik Hernandez), Jimmy Noyes (Emily Jagos), Zachary and Maxwell Palazzo and Robby Noyes; brother, Karl Starks and sister, June Leddy.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. TUESDAY at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with the Rev. David Scavuzzo officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home MONDAY 4 to 7:30 p.m. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
