Martha B. Siefkas, 90, died September 23, 2014.
Martha was born in Parkville, Missouri on January 15, 1924.
Preceded in death by husband of 60 years, John; sisters, Nadine and Katy; and brother, Lloyd, she is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Paul Held and Linda Siefkas and Donald Slowik; nieces and nephews; and devoted friend, John Jesenko.
An Akron resident for 64 years, she was generous and a loving wife, mother and friend. She was a longtime member of Westminster Presbyterian Church where she volunteered her secretarial services for many years. Her love of ragtime and reading inspired her daughters love of music and literature.
There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Liberty, Missouri. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1250 W.
