Melinda A Keith

Melinda A. Keith made her transition on August 8, 2015.
Even with her diagnosis of ovarian cancer in 2011, Melinda was able to continue to live her life with the core belief that "All is Well". Throughout her life she had a clear understanding of universal spiritual principles and envisioned the harmony and unity of mankind. Melinda lived a life of "Loving Kindness" to all people.
Melinda was born February 14, 1950 in Akron, Ohio and was a lifetime resident. She was a graduate of Firestone High School and received Bachelor of Science degrees from Miami University (Mathematics) and Kent State University (Architecture). Melinda loved working with people and was an accomplished architect in both the commercial and residential fields. Her love of people was also shown through time spent doing volunteer work at the Ronald McDonald House, the VNS Hospice Center and CASA.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Violet Keith. She is survived by her devoted, loving partner of 18 years, Bob Myers; her siblings, Jacquin (Joe) Mann, Karen (Gary) Higby, Loren Keith, Thomas Keith, Douglas Keith; and many nieces and nephews.
Bob would also like to add words of appreciation and gratitude to Melinda's mentor and spiritual adviser, Vince Lisi and dear friends, David Best and Connie Ilse. Special thanks to the caring and compassionate staff of the Justin T. Rogers Hospice Care Center, Copley, Ohio.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial Service will take place October 12, 2015 at 1:30 pm. at Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel. 85 N. Miller Rd. Memorial contributions may be made in Melinda's memory to NOW Creations, PO Box 1444, Youngstown, Ohio 44501-1444.
