Myrna Scheetz Obituary
Myrna Joy Scheetz, age 81, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2017. She joins her beloved husband of 54 years, Frederick Roy, and their dear son, Jeffrey Dale. Myrna was also predeceased by her parents, Esther and Ernest Judy and her brothers, Arthur and Dwight.
Myrna lived up to her middle name and often found joy in the simple things: an A&W coney dog, watching QVC, and cheering for the Cleveland Indians. Myrna loved to travel and she and Fred were proud to have visited all fifty states. Myrna was also proud of her extensive doll collection.
Myrna will be greatly missed by her children, Michael (Merriel) Scheetz, Pamela Upchurch, Brian (Kit) Scheetz, Michele (John) Nelson; her grandchildren, Jeremy and Kyle Pouncey, Stephen Shannon and Tiffani Nelson, Kelly and John Scheetz; her sister, Kathleen (Richard) Bowers, and her dog, Turbo.
The family will celebrate Myrna's life at a private graveside ceremony. The family suggests memorials may be sent to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 15829, Arlington, VA 22215.
