Vera Belden

Vera I. Belden, age 83, died September 8,2014 in Myrtle Beach, SC.
Vera was born July 3,1931 and married Wade A. Belden in 1951. She was a beloved wife to Wade for 55 years until his death in 2006, and a loving mother to her children. Vera was very active in the Church of Our Saviour, Akron, OH where she joyfully worked and served for many years. She loved classical music and always scheduled time to play cards with her many friends. Her love of Ohio sports and great sense of humor blessed those around her. She was a wonderful cook and hostess to many and holidays will never be the same without Mom.

She is survived and will be greatly missed by sister, Onalee of Cleveland; sons, David (Renee) Belden of Cuyahoga Falls, Jeff (Joyce) Belden of Lima, Terry (Suzanne) Belden of Myrtle Beach and Greg (Kim Frock) Belden of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren, Drew (Ashley) Belden, Reed (Andrea) Belden, Mark (Becky) Belden, Elise Belden, Sarah (Edward) Benton, Lyndsay (Stewart) Plemmons, Todd (Jennifer) Belden, Doug (Kara) Belden, Tyler Belden; and 9 great grandchildren.
The family especially wishes to thank the staff of Summit Place, Little River, SC for their outstanding care and support.

A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at the Billow Falls Chapel, 1907 23rd St. (corner of 23rd St. and Falls Ave.) with Pastor Robert Schneider officiating. Private inurnment at Glendale Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11-1 p.m. Saturday. (Billow FALLS Chapel)
