Donna Gabbert

Donna Gabbert passed away peacefully on March 6th with family by her side and is together again with her Husband Jim.

Donna was born on March 24, 1935, to David and Audrey Allen (Walton) in Akron, Ohio. After graduation from high school, she remained in Akron and met her future husband Jim after a few years. They married in 1959 and moved to Richfield where they started a family. Donna was a dedicated wife and mother, and her first priority in life was taking care of her family. She lived in Richfield for 56 years until Jim’s death. She was a member of the Akron Baptist Temple for 56 years, and served as a teacher, choir member, and served in the nursing home ministry.

She is survived by her children Ruth Tywon, Jim (Vicki) Gabbert, Ed (Jenean) Gabbert; grandchildren Ashley, Michael, Alexis, Taylor, Britnee; great grandchildren, McKenlie, Mason, and Banks.

Funeral Service will be on TUESDAY, March 12, 2024 at 1pm at the Billow Fairlawn Chapel, 85 N Miller Road Akron, Ohio 44333. Friends may call prior to the service between 12-1pm. There will be a private burial for the family.
