Polly Stokes Obituary

Polly Ann Stokes, age 59, passed away unexpectedly on March 16, 2024. She was born on March 21, 1964, to Jack and Lois (nee: Whitcomb) Stokes in Des Moines, Iowa. Polly attended The University of Akron from 1987 to 1993 when she graduated with her master’s degree in English. Polly spent many years supervising young adults through the Teen Missions International which she loved dearly. She spent her free time publishing articles, writing short stories, and poetry. Polly will be missed by all who cared for her.

She is survived by her brother, David Stokes. Polly is preceded in death by her parents Jack and Lois.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
