Don Wayne Anders Sr.

Don Wayne Anders, Sr., 74, beloved husband of Barbara L. Anders, died Saturday, September 4, 2021, at his home in Sumter, SC. Born August 20, 1947, in Akron, OH, he was a son of the late Roy Anders and the late Enie Holderfield Anders. He attended Pinewood United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife of Sumter; four children, Donna Deely (Bill) of Pickerington, OH, Don W. Anders, Jr. (Tabbitha) of Tullahoma, TN, Kim Vance (Bill) of Lancaster, OH, and Tia Thompson (Ed) of Raleigh, NC; four stepchildren, Staci Guenther (Greg) of Oshkosh, WI, Andy Bieger (Joanna) of Sumter, Brian Bieger of Sumter and Corey Bieger (Lacy) of Sumter; 15 grandchildren, Breen (Carissa), Katie (Stephen), Julia, Bradley, Ashley, Christopher, Ward, Charlotte, Austin, Gracie, Michael, Mandy (Joe), Will, Sophie, and Wyatt; five great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Chloe, Harper, Chandler, and Cayce; two brothers, Jim Anders and John Anders, both of OH; two sisters, Minnie Whitmore (Bill) of Rock Hill and Bonnie Norman of Sacramento, CA; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Truman Anders, Leroy Anders, and Jerry Anders; and three sisters, Lilly Bennett, Dollie Ward, and Betty Dobbins.

Calling hours will be held from 1-2:30 p.m. SATURDAY September 11, 2021 at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Road. Memorial Service at 2:30 p.m. with Dave Denney officiating.  There will be a graveside gathering for family and loved ones at Bath Center Cemetery at noon prior to calling hours.
