Karen S. Jackson

Karen S. Jackson, 75, of Akron, passed away on May 8, 2021. Karen was born on August 28, 1945 in Akron to Frank B. (Mary Lyda nee Hine) Cyphert.

Karen graduated from Old Trail High School in 1963. She was a graduate of the University of Akron with a BSBA in 1968.

Karen was an avid dog lover. She had three dogs, two of which were certified through Therapy Dogs International. Together they enjoyed visiting residents at Nursing Homes and Hospitals.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Richard and step son, Jonnathon Jackson. She is survived by step children, Jennifer(Agostino) Micozzi, Jeffery(Janet Wines) Jackson and Jannessa(Roy Grimes) Jackson and 7 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cleveland Clinic Hospice or Summit County Humane Society.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, May 13 from 11-1 P.M. at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel with a service to follow at 1 P.M. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
