Linda Willard Hokes

Linda Willard Hokes, 76, passed away Monday, October 4, 2021, at Summa Akron City Hospital.

Linda was born on March 8, 1945 and resided in Cuyahoga Falls her entire life. She was a lifelong member of St. Luke’s Church in Cuyahoga Falls. She retired from Roadway Express/FedEx with 35 years experience.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Charlotte Willard, and her dear husband, Joe.

She is survived by children, Joseph (Rhonda), Thomas (Erin), Phyllis Urbank, and Jamie; cousins, Cheri Burgner and Debbie Heaton; 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Linda was known for her love of boxer dogs. She had several throughout the years and participated in many dog shows in the U.S. and Canada. Earlier in life she was a hand model and held a pilot’s license. She and husband, Joe, loved to polka and went on many cruises with the polka group.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, October 9, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am at Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd. St.  Cuyahoga Falls, 44223 with a service immediately following. Interment will be at Crown Hill Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The Humane Society, 7996 Darrow Rd, Twinsburg, OH 44087.
