Andrew E. Ellis

Andrew E. Ellis went home to be with the Lord on October 12, 2020. He was a lifelong resident of Richfield and graduate of Revere High School. He served in the US Army, attaining the rank E5 Sergeant. After the Army, he served as a communication specialist and manager for Western Electric, and MCI. Andy was also a member of the Richfield Fire Department for 41 years attaining the rank of Assistant Fire Chief. After retiring from the fire department, he served as a Village of Richfield Councilman for 8 years. Andy also served as a trustee on the board at Church in the Valley for many years.

Andrew was a loving husband to his wife Cindy Ellis of almost 47 years; loving father to Eric (Amy) Ellis and Tiffany (Steve) Weinert; loving grandfather to Logan, Landon , Ashley, Paige, Lucas, and Alexa; loving brother to Chuck (Patty) Ellis, and Jane Ellis Scharff; loving uncle to many nieces and nephews; and loving friend to so many.

The family will receive friends Friday, October 16th from 4-6 p.m. at Billows Funeral Home, 85 N Miller Rd., Fairlawn. The memorial service will begin at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Church in the Valley with “In memory of Andy Ellis--benevolence ” in the memo line.
