Agatha Marie Hanna

Agatha Marie Hanna (Habenschuss), 72, of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio passed away on July 17th, 2026. She was a beloved sister, friend, and the best mother one could wish for.

Agatha was born near Salzburg, Austria and immigrated to the United States when she was 4 with her parents, Anton and Katerina Habenschuss, and her two brothers Michael and Tony. She graduated Valedictorian at her high school, Our Lady of the Elms, and went on to get a Master's Degree in Medical Technology, working in the laboratory at Children's Hospital for 45 years. She dedicated her life to her son Stephan and passion for her pets, most notably, her dogs Franco and Frannie. She was wryly funny, hard-working, loved roller coasters and the beach, and had endless love and patience for her family and friends.

Agatha is survived by her son Stephan Hanna of Akron, Ohio; her brother Michael Habenschuss, of Charleston, West Virginia; and her best friend Marcia Junglen of Stow, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her devoted long term partner Randy McDonald.

Memorial service will take place at 3:00 PM on SATURDAY, August 8, 2026, at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223. Friends may call from 1:00 PM until the start of the service at 3:00 PM. The family invites all who knew her to attend and share their favorite memories.
