Alexandra K. Nikolaides

Alexandra Nikolaides, 82, passed away peacefully April 25, 2009.

Raised in Greece, she moved to Akron in 1957. Alexandra was a longtime employee of Portage Country Club until the age of retirement and she was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church.

Preceded in death by her sister, Helen Turpin; she is survived by sister, Olga Samata; nephews, Sam Mary Sandy Samatas, Krist Donna Samata, James Karen Samata, Tom Providence Samata; cousin, Margaret Papas; great nieces and nephews, Ashley, Jordan, Alexsandra, Angelica, Anne, Nicholas.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m., Tuesday at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 129 S. Union St. with services following at 2 p.m. with Rev. Fr. Jerry F. Hall officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park.
