Alexis Colleen Crouse, 28, Devoted Mother and Free Spirit

Alexis Colleen Crouse, known affectionately as “Sessa” or “Lexi” to family and friends, passed away on May 19, 2025, at the age of 28.

Born on January 8, 1997, in Youngstown, Alexis carried a soul that was both tender and strong, drawn deeply to the quiet strength of trees, the stories held in books, and the healing rhythm of music. Rain or shine, she found beauty in the world’s small wonders—especially rainbows, which she cherished as signs of hope and connection.

Alexis was a loving and devoted mother to her three young children: Xander, Kanan, and Amari, who were the light of her life. She gave endlessly of herself—her time, her spirit, her love.

She is survived by her parents, Kelly Collins (Rashad) and Patrick Crouse (Brandy), and her sisters, Emma, Masie, Elizabeth, and Chelsea. She was preceded in death by her sister, McKenzie and her brother, Xander.

To know Alexis was to experience kindness without condition. Her heart was vast, and her presence unforgettable.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. on SATURDAY, June 7, 2025, at Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Road, with Pastor Stephen Lott officiating.

Those wishing to honor her life are encouraged to spend time among trees, read a favorite book, or share a kind act in her memory.
