Ann Carolyn Ross Dunn, 86, of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, died Tuesday, August 2, 2011 after a courageous ten year battle with Alzheimer's disease.
Mrs. Dunn will be remembered fondly by family, friends, and colleagues from a teaching career that spanned more than a quarter century.
Born in her family home in Flemington, West Virginia, she was raised until graduating high school, then went on to earn her bachelor's degree from Ohio University. She began her teaching career in Russellville, Ohio where she met John, her husband of 54 years. They moved to Buckhannon, West Virginia where they started both a business and a family. They moved to Cambridge, Ohio where Ann taught Ohio History and they had their second son. She was a long standing member of the congregation of the Northminster Presbyterian Church whose support and friendship she enjoyed throughout her life.
