Bart Rado Kohler, 58, of Uniontown, Ohio, passed away on April 20, 2026. Born on March 17, 1968, Bart was a lifelong resident of Northeast Ohio who also cherished time spent at his home in Florida.
Bart was widely respected as a pioneer and trusted expert in the electronic payments industry, dedicating nearly 30 years of his career to helping businesses navigate the complexities of merchant processing. In 2000, he founded Allcard USA, LLC, a merchant services agency built on integrity, transparency, and a hands-on consulting approach. His leadership and deep industry knowledge earned him recognition as a leader among his peers and a valued advisor to countless business owners.
A proud Electronic Transactions Association Certified Payments Professional (ETA CPP), Bart was among the first in the nation to earn this distinguished credential in 2012. A self-proclaimed “payments nerd,” he had a genuine passion for the industry and a deep commitment to continuous learning. He actively contributed to the advancement of the profession through his work on ETA committees, including the ETA CPP Credentialing Committee, and regularly participated in the association’s annual efforts to advocate before the U.S. Congress on behalf of the payments industry.
Bart was also an author, sharing his knowledge and experience through his books, Myth Busting the Merchant Payments Industry and Auto Pilot Income, which educated and empowered business owners to better understand and leverage payment systems and residual income opportunities.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Bart was known for his quick wit and infectious sense of humor. He had a remarkable ability to make people laugh, lighten the mood, and make even the most challenging situations feel manageable. Whether in business or at home, he brought energy, warmth, and joy to those around him.
Bart was a devoted husband, father, son, and brother. He is survived by his wife, Teresa; daughter, Alexandria Schutz of Cincinnati, son, John Kuryn of Canton; his parents, Daniel R. and Donna Rado Kohler of Bath Township; his sister, Victoria Kohler of Bath Township; and his in-laws, Brian and Carol Kuryn of Hartville. He was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel R. Kohler, Jr.
