Becky Lee (Baine) Pete, 78, lifelong resident of Akron, Ohio. Died peacefully after a quick cancer diagnosis on Sunday, August 3rd, 2025 at home with her loving family by her side

She was born March 25,1947 the daughter of Roy H. and Blanche (Stecker) Baine.

She was the loving sister to Roy C. Baine. She worked her whole life at Quaker Square as store owner of All that Glitters, general manager of Quaker Square, front desk manager of the Hilton and then front desk manager for University of Akron.

Her family will remember her passion for her horse Seawings and her cars a 51 Chevy Convertible Bel Aire and a 70 Chevelle Malibu. Everyone will remember her for her obsession with Gone with the Wind, her family believes she has the worlds largest collection.

Husband and best friend of 52 years Lewis Pete Jr.; Children, Kimberly (Lance)Hershman, Kristopher (Stephanie) Pete; Grandchildren, Kirstin and Aubrey Lengel, Shaylee Hershman and Amber (Joe) Benson, Helena and Olivia Pete, Amber (Cori) Norman, Tyler (Abbey) Norman; Great grandchildren, Jace Benson, Jonathan and Mason Norman as well as many four legged fur grand dogs, cats and feathered buddies.

Becky was preceded in death by her parents, Roy H. and Blanche Baine and her brother, Roy C. Baine.

Calling hours will be held MONDAY, August 11 from 9:30A.M.-11A.M at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd. Akron, OH 44333 with a brief service to follow at 11AM. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
