Bess Lioces, 91, passed away December 20, 2012.

Born in Dover, Ohio she was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, involved in it's various organizations. Bess was a very giving and caring person. She loved to travel, cook, play canasta and spoil the many dogs she had rescued over the years. A patron of the Arts, she had supported the Cleveland Orchestra attending concerts at both Blossom and Severance Hall. A career women with 42 years service and a reputation for excellent relationships with her co-workers, she was dedicated to her job as a section manager in the Accounting Department at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company.

Preceded in death by her brother, Thomas; she is survived by her sister-in-law, Irene Lioces; nephew, John Lioces; niece, Maria (Scott) Osborne; and many very dear friends.

Services will be held 9 a.m. MONDAY at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 129 S. Union St., with Rev. Fr. Jerry F. Hall officiating. Entombment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, SUNDAY from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, Building Fund, 129 S. Union St., Akron 44304. or the Alzheimer's Association, 70 W. Streetsboro St. #201, Hudson, Ohio 44236.
