Catherine Georgene Bayer

Catherine Georgene Bayer passed away on July 13th, 2025.

Georgene, as she preferred to be called, was born on June 12th, 1926 to parents S.R. Everett and Sue J. Everett (nee Roberts). She was married for over 58 years to her late beloved husband, Edward A. Bayer, who died on December 31st, 2014.

Georgene was employed for many years at Goodyear Aerospace.

She was a member of the Merriman Hills Garden Club and the Welcome Club (aka Welcome Wagon). Georgene and Ed were longtime supporters of Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens. Georgene served on the Stany Hywet Auxiliary Board.

Georgene was a member of The Chapel, where she accepted Christ as her savior and was baptized. She remained strong in her faith, trusting her Lord and Savior over the past many years.

Georgene will be laid to rest 10 A.M. FRIDAY July 18th, 2025 in an Entombment Ceremony at Rose Hill Burial Park, 3653 W. Market St. Fairlawn, OH 44333. The ceremony will be officiated by Rev. Karl Johnson. There will not be any calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Hospice, 7206 Market St. Suite C, Youngstown, OH 44512, or to One of a Kind Pet Rescue, 1929 W. Market St. Akron, OH 44313.
