Charles Michael McKitrick

Charles Michael “Mick” McKitrick, age 63, of Akron, OH, passed away at his home on March 24th, 2026.

Mick was born at St. Thomas Hospital on September 21, 1962, to the late David McKitrick and Sharon Cisneros. He was a graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School, Class of 1981. Mick served in the Air Force for 23 years before returning home to be closer to his family. He was employed by Total Distribution, Inc. (TDI) in Akron, Ohio.

Mick was the only son in a family of six. He was a big brother and proud “dad” to all of us. He was a prankster – a “pull my finger” type of guy.

It has been said that “When you have a sibling, you have someone who knows the story of who you were and who you would always be.” Though the chapter is closed, he will always be our big brother.

Mick was preceded in death by his sisters, Angela and Jeanelle; and four-footed furry friends, Malachi and Toby. Mick is survived by his mother, Sharon; son Brody; sisters, Deanna (Clark) Wood, Mindy Cisneros, and Cassandra (Mike) Primm; many nieces and nephews; and “forever brother” Doug White. A Celebration of Mick’s Life will be held 1-3 P.M. on SATURDAY April 25, 2026 at 3915 Sourek Road Ext., Akron, OH 44333.
