It is with great sorrow that we announce that Christine J. Havel, 71, passed away on Wednesday, June 18th,2025 in her home in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio peacefully surrounded by her family. She was born on March 28th,1954 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Christine grew up in Garfield Hts., Ohio with her loving parents and siblings where she attended MaryMount High School. She continued her career as a meat clerk at Rockside Meats then onto Giant Eagle. In addition, she worked a second job at The Gund/Quicken Loans Arena, where she found her love for basketball and witnessed many events including concerts that opened her up to new experiences and allowed her to meet many new friends.
Christine had an infectious smile that was contagious whenever in her presence. Her dedication to her family was unstoppable. She loved her children with all of her blood, sweat, tears, and every ounce of her heart. There was nothing that she wouldn't do to protect and care for her Fab 5. Her greatest joy was being able to love her grandchildren and great grandchildren where she quoted "If she knew it would have been this much fun, she would have had them first".
Christine never lost her faith in God and love no matter what obstacle was thrown at her, she stood tall and strong at everything that was meant to break her down. Her strength, love, courage, respect, encouragement, praise, and all that she ever offered to family, friends, and strangers will never be forgotten.
