David Corwin SirLouis, Sr., 81, passed away on May 20, 2026, in Akron, Ohio.
He is survived by his wife, Kathi Damitz; his son, Scott SirLouis; his sister, Vicki Groetzinger; and his beloved dog, Louie.
David was a proud graduate of Revere High School and the University of Akron. He enjoyed a long and successful career in business, beginning as the owner of Bath Marathon gas station. He later established himself as a trusted CPA, and was the owner of Hammond Corners Grille in Bath Township for twelve years.
A lifelong fan of Ohio State football, David never missed a Buckeye game. He also had a deep passion for cars, dedicating hours to restoring classic Mustangs and exploring auto parts swap meets.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 30, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd. Akron, OH 44333.
David will be deeply missed by those who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.
