Edward Tudor Edwards, III

Edward Tudor Edwards, III, age 71 years, of Bath died Sunday, August 9, 2026, at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital following a brief illness.

Ed was born in Latrobe, Pennsylvania June 9, 1955, and was the son of the late Edward T. and Mary Jane (Mitchell) Edwards and moved to Akron from the Orlando, Florida area in 2006. Ed completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Miami (Florida) and earned two master’s degrees from Webster University, St. Louis, and Villanova University, respectively. After college, while living in Orlando, he worked for Disney in their IT department for 13 years before striking out with friends to start their own business during the “Dot Com” era. Ed retired as an IT Project Manager for ADP. He was an avid reader, loved to travel with family and friends, and was very social…never knowing a stranger anywhere he went.

Preceded in death by his parents, Ed is survived by his wife of 24 years, Kathy; son, Marc Edwards of Bath; sister, Dawn Edwards of Rockville, Maryland; and many loving family and friends.

Ed’s family will receive friends from 2-4 PM Saturday, September 5 at Billow Funeral Home FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 North Miller Road, Akron.
