Edward "Jack" Troyan

Edward “Jack” Troyan, age 92, of Tallmadge, OH died on February 14th, 2026. He was born June 14th, 1933 in Akron, OH to parents John Troyan and Mary Troyan (nee Jasielum). A skilled engineer, Jack spent his career as a loyal and devoted employee of B.F. Goodrich Company.

Preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Rudolfine “Rudi” Troyan; he is survived by his brother, David Troyan (Ellen); and nephews, Scott Troyan and Marc Troyan.

Jack was laid to rest next to his beloved wife, Rudi, in a graveside committal service on Monday March 2nd at St. Michael Cemetery in Suffield (Randolph Road, CR-10). Jack’s family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Fr. Michael Williamson, Pastor of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church and St. Matthew Catholic Church, who administered the Rite of Committal

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Michael Williamson 11 A.M. FRIDAY March 20th, 2026 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 2603 Benton Ave Akron, OH 44312. The family extends a cordial invitation to all of Jack's dear friends and beloved neighbors to join them at St. Matthew’s for mass.
