Edward Frank Surman

Edward F. Surman, 93, died October 26, 2017.


Born in Cleveland November 20, 1923 to Frank and Anna Dietz Surman, he was a U.S Army veteran of World War II. Edward was a bricklayer by trade for Local #5. He was a founding member of St. Victor Catholic Church in Richfield.




Preceded in death by his first wife, Jane and brothers, Richard and Herbert; he is survived by his wife, Nola; sisters, Margaret Stein and Marilyn Hanley; step-sons, Vernon, Wayne and Wesley White.



Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Victor Catholic Church, 3435 Everett Road in Richfield on Thursday, November 2nd at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Father Allen Corrigan. Family will receive friends and family one hour prior to the service at church, from 9 to 10 a.m. Interment at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
