Eugene M. Hofer

Eugene M. Hofer, age 89, of Brunswick, passed away peacefully Saturday, October 18, 2025.

Gene was born August 14, 1936, in East Pittsburgh, to Eugene and Anna (nee Stickley) Hofer.

Preceded in death by his parents, his son Curt Hofer, and sisters Verna (Jack) Prentice, and Maureen (Cal) Jacobs.

Gene is survived by his cherished son, Thom and Karen Hofer; beloved daughter-in-law, Coleen Hofer; treasured grandchildren, Kayla and Drew Stearns, Ryan Hofer and Sydney Turoff; Kelsey Hofer and Johnny Rudin, and Jared and Maria Hofer; loving great grandchildren, Grayson, Veyda, and Zander Stearns, and Myles Hofer; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Celebration of Life will take place SUNDAY, October 26, 2025 from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Brunswick Eagles, 349 Pearl Rd. Brunswick, OH 44212. Inurnment will take place in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
