George "Poggy" Dudo died peacefully at home in Richfield, Ohio on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at the age of 93.
George is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years, Aneitha; sons, George, Ken, Jeff and Keith; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. George was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Hido; his father, John; and brothers, John and Albert.
George was born on March 15, 1923 in New Castle, PA. He married Aneitha on April 8, 1946. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II as a communication specialist.
Friends may call Tuesday, April 19, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Billow Fairlawn Chapel, 85 N Miller Rd., Akron, OH 44333. Interment will be at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please send donations to AMVETS Post 176, 3944 Wheatley Rd., Richfield, OH 44286, North Royalton Christian Church, 5100 Royalton Rd., Cleveland, OH 44133, or a charity of your choice.
