Gladys Trenner, age 86, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2014.
Born January 11, 1928 in England, she was the daughter of Percy and Ada (Starmer) Downham; she came to the United States in 1948. She was a life-long member of the T.B.P.A. (Trans-Atlantic Brides and Parents Association).
Survivors include her son Mark (Carolyn); grandsons Jason and Andrew. She was preceded in death by her husband William P. Trenner in 2004.
Cremation has taken place, Graveside Services will take place on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at 10:45AM at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd., in Rittman (those attending should assemble at the main gate at 10:30 and will proceed from there together).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service, c/o Akron General Foundation, 400 Wabash Ave., Akron, Ohio 44307-2463.
