Grace Z. Kistler, 89, died January 10, 2009.
Part of the Kistler Bakery family, she lived in Akron most of her life. A member of Fairlawn West United Church of Christ, she was past president of Witan.
Preceded in death by her husband, John R. and son, Ned; she is survived by her daughters, Lynne Titmas and Judy Ralph DeYoung; son, John R. Kistler; seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. THURSDAY at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with Rev. David Loar officiating. Private inurnment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour before services Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 525 N. Broad St., Canfield, Ohio 44406.
