Preceded in death by his parents, Ruth (nee Riordan) and Harry E. Whittle; brothers, Donald and Thomas Whittle; he is survived by his loving partner of 33 years, Joan Genovese; son, Michael; nephews, Todd, Tommy and Jason Whittle; and many grandchildren.
