James D. Reilly, 85, died March 31, 2011.
Born in Harrisburg, Pa., he retired from Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. where he was the Foreign Export Credit Manager. A member of Woodland United Methodist Church, he was a volunteer at Akron General Medical Center for 21 years, an avid reader, and enjoyed being with his grandchildren.
Preceded in death by wife, Lena; brother, Thomas; and sister, Betty McGuinn; he is survived by daughters, Judy Wilson and Nancy Moore; five grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Betty Reilly.
Friends may call 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with Rev. Debbie Gibbons saying prayers at 6:30 p.m. Interment at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Harrisburg, Pa. Memorials may be made to Woodland United Methodist Church, 444 N. Hawkins Ave., Akron 44313 or the Arthritis Foundation , 2542 S. Arlington Rd., #100, Akron 44319.
