James David Shull, age 71 years of Green, passed away suddenly Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at his home in his rocking chair.
James was born in Dayton October 21, 1954, and was the son of the late Ramon C. and Bertha M. (Riemenschneider) Shull. He has lived in Green since 1998. James worked as a farm laborer and farm overseer for many years and worked in industrial maintenance. He enjoyed working with tractors, repairing small engines, gardening, and square dancing as a member of Track II square dancing club. James was a Christian and a believer.
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his brothers: Joseph, Robert, and Mack; and his sister, Wanda Dickerson. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Alice (Hafer) Shull; daughters: Rebecca Shull (Richard Smith), and Victoria Shull; and son, Walter Shull; sisters: Ramona Ruth (Donald) Sorrell, and Lexie (David) Chartrand.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 13, at Foxfield Preserve, 9877 Alabama Avenue SW, Wilmot, Ohio. There will be no visitation.
