Janet Sue Clover, 73, of Norton, Ohio, died peacefully on May 28, 2026, surrounded by the love of family and friends.
Born in Decatur, IL on November 8, 1952, to parents Rex and Louise Clover (nee Brink), Janet spent many years in Fairlawn, Ohio, before later making her home in Norton. She graduated from Vincentian High School in Pittsburg, PA and earned an Associate Degree in Graphic Design from North Hennepin Community College in Brooklyn Park, MN, which began a lifelong journey of creativity, beauty, and artistry.
Janet was a talented artist and interior designer with an extraordinary gift for making spaces feel warm, welcoming, and beautiful. She poured her heart into her beloved store “Just That Twist” which was located first in Fairlawn and later in Copley. The store was a place where customers quickly became friends. Her creativity touched countless homes and lives. More recently, she continued sharing her talents as a senior designer with Transitional Design in Broadview Heights, OH from 2015 to 2024.
Janet, a devoted member of St. Hilary Parish since 1974, cherished her faith, family, friendships, and community. She also enjoyed sports throughout her life, both as a participant and as a spectator. In her younger years, she played softball and was an avid golfer. Later in life, she particularly enjoyed communicating with her nephews about The Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland sports teams.
Janet was the beloved sister of Karen (Michael) Barker; loving aunt of Kyle (Lila) Barker and Todd (Dana) Barker; treasured great-aunt to her grandnieces and grandnephew; and dear cousin and friend to many whose lives were brighter because of her presence. She shared a special bond with those closest to her and leaves behind memories that will be cherished forever.
She will be remembered for her creativity, her warmth, laughter, and wonderful sense of style. Her love and spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
