Jean Sharp, 92, died Nov. 10, 2016.
Born in Copley to Robert A. and Muriel Miksch, she was a member of Copley United Methodist Church and was involved with the Copley Historical Society. Jean, the family historian, loved flower gardening, bird watching, piano playing and traveling, but her most precious passion was her family.
Preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Arnold Sharp; son, Timothy; and brother, Robert H. Miksch; she is survived by children, Cathy (Thomas) Van Nostran and Dale (Maggie) Sharp; grandchildren, Timothy, Seth (Crystal) and Erin Van Nostran and Stacey (Matt), Katelin (Matt) and Sarah Sharp and their mother, Sue Sharp; and great grandchildren, Alex, Bryce and Morgan.
Special thanks to loving caregivers, Lori, Renee, Katie, Anna and Moriah.
A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Monday at Copley Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Butcher officiating. Friends may call 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Leukemia Society, 5700 Brecksville Rd., 3rd Floor, Independence, OH 44122. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
