Jeffrey Roger Lee
passed away peacefully April 19, 2023 in Akron Ohio.
Born 5-14-42 in Detroit Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his parents Frank (of England) & Theresa (of Italy) & his brother Ron (Karen).
Jeff was the beloved husband of Vicki Lee (Metzel). They had been married nearly 22 years. Together with his first wife, Christine, they raised 3 great kids, Ron, David, and Amy (Wesley Eisold).
He was grandfather to Rainer. He also leaves behind his sister Sandy & many more close family members, friends, co-workers, & neighbors.
Jeff reinvented himself often working early in life as a National Guard mechanic, & later as a renowned Porsche mechanic. Then he became President of Star Supply & finally finished his working career as the Eclipse software guru for Famous Supply.
He was known as Daddy-o, Pops, Papa, Jeffafa, and the Kool Dad on the block.
So many kind expressions of love & grief have already been shared but here we want to list a few more of his sweet qualities & favorite things.
Most of all he loved his family, the Hallmark Movie Channel, French vanilla ice cream, raspberries, king crab legs, Drambuie & his pets. He danced on air when he learned he would be a grandfather. Rainer inherited his lovable laugh. He was a big fan of trains, fishing, & boating, motorcycles, cars, the WNBA & girls volleyball. Upper Michigan, Key West & Hawaii were favorite places to visit.
He was an honest man, generous, thoughtful, accepting of others, a well read genius, fun & funny (dad jokes), a teacher, a mentor, a romantic, provider, caregiver, music lover, & puzzle solver. He never once shaved off that mustache. In other words, he was the Koolest !
Special thanks to his kids & all the family members & friends who came together to help during this difficult time.
Also thanks to his friend Bruce Raff & the critical care team at Summa hospital.
Family & friends will celebrate Jeff’s life at a later date to be announced in the future.
You will be missed Jeffafa. ILY. XOXO
