John Murray Peterson “Pete,” 93 years, passed away at home on Friday, September 11, 2026, after a long illness. He is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years, Carole J. Vandersall.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on THURSDAY, October 1, 2026, in the Chapel and Memorial Garden of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1361 W Market Street, Akron OH 44313. The family will greet friends in the parlor after the service.
