Johnny David Correa

Johnny David Correa, age 46 years, of Garfield Heights, passed away Monday, April 6, 2026, The Cleveland Clinic Justin T. Rogers Hospice Care Center following a long illness.

Johnny was born in Youngstown, lived in Puerto Rico until he was 18 and lived most recently in the Cleveland area. He enjoyed his brother Pedro’s cooking, singing, salsa dancing, and especially Jennifer Lopez.

He was preceded in death by his bio-father, Peter E. Correa, his foster mother, Carmen Correa, and a brother, Edwin Vega. Johnny is survived by his father, Carlos Vega Vitale and mother, Nancy Santiago; his brothers and sister: Charlie Vega, Albert Vega, Pedro Correa, and Lydia Vega; aunt, Millie DeLoach; cousins: David Santiago, Rachel Green, Andrew Vega, Ashley Santiago, Andrea Vega, Ida Santiago, and Simeon Santiago.

A gathering of friends will take place sometime in the near future.
