Joseph C. Conley

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Joseph C. Conley on August 23, 2025, at the age of 63.

Joseph, the cherished son of Benjamin F. Conley and Nancy Pilliod, was born in Akron on March 10, 1962. He was raised in Jackson Township and completed his education with vocational training in electronics.

Known for his exceptionally kind heart, Joseph faced a long-term heart ailment with quiet acceptance. He was devoted to his family and will be fondly remembered for his willingness to help and his encouraging words.

He is survived by his parents; his brother, Benjamin L. Conley; his sister, Karen Vollmer (Andrew); his nephew, John Vollmer; his niece, Gabriele Vollmer; his aunt, Marge Arnold; and many cousins.

Joseph was preceded in death by his stepfather, Charles J. Pilliod Jr.

A private funeral service will be held.
